Chevrolet Trax: Removing the Spare Tire and Tools
The spare tire and tools are located
in the storage compartment in the
rear of the vehicle.

Without Subwoofer
- Wrench
- Jack

With Subwoofer
To access the spare tire and tools:
- Open the liftgate. See Liftgate
- Lift the trim cover.
- If the vehicle has a subwoofer
assembly on top of the spare
tire, remove it by turning the
center retainer counterclockwise.
- If the vehicle does not have a
subwoofer, turn the retainer
counterclockwise to remove the
spare tire.
- Remove the spare tire, jack, and
tools and place them near the
tire being changed.

vehicle has one, to reach the
wheel bolts.

counterclockwise to loosen
