Draining Procedure
WARNING: To avoid being burned, do not remove the radiator cap or

Engine Coolant
Engine coolant is the key element of the heating system. The thermostat
controls engine operating coolant
temperature. The thermostat also creates a restriction for the cooling system
that promotes a positive coolant
flow
Brake Fluid
The brake master cylinder and, on
manual transmission vehicles, the
clutch hydraulic system use the
same reservoir. See Engine

reservoir. The reservoir is filled with
either DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid
as indicated on the reservoir cap.
