Eliminating Air Conditioning Odor
Odors may be emitted from the air conditioning system primarily at start
up in hot, humid climates. The
following conditions may cause the odor:
Debris is present in the HVAC module assembly.
Microbial growth on the evaporator core.
When the blower motor
Removal Procedure
WARNING: Refer to Exhaust Service Warning .

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
.
Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor - position 2 from the exhaust front
pipe.
