Head Restraint Adjustment
Do not drive until the head restraints
for all occupants are installed and
adjusted properly.
To achieve a comfortable seating
position, change the seatback
recline angle as little as necessary
while keeping the seat and the head
restraint height in the proper
position.

The passenger sensing system
turns off the front outboard
passenger frontal airbag and knee
airbag under certain conditions. No
other airbag is affected by the
passenger sensing system. See
Passenger Sensing System (U.S.
and Canada) for
important information.
The passenger airbag status
indicator will be visible on the
instrument panel when the vehicle is

Ignition OFF, disconnect the X2 harness connector at the K9 Body Control
Module, ignition ON.
Verify a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuit terminal 3 and
ground.
If the test lamp does not illuminate and the circuit fuse is good
Ignition OFF.
Test for less than 2 ohms in the B+
